Syart Gallery new gem Ivy-Edera

A sculpture, a mural painting and an installation in the old town – Sorrento becomes an open-air museum of contemporary art. Credit goes to Rossella Savarese and Leone Gargiulo, founders of SyArt Gallery, where amazing Italian and international works of art can be admired and purchased.
Their contemporary art route has a new gem this year: “Ivy-Edera”, a high painted steel sculpture in Via San Francesco. The creator D. Luttwak has specialised in sculpting plant roots. She revives the beauty of origins, exploring relations between things growing on and under the ground. Luttwak’s work adds to the mural painting “Sorrento loves Art” by TvBoy and the sculpture “Essenza” by C. Novaco, staged at the entrance of the municipal garden and in St Antoninus Square.
The SyArt Gallery, open 11 am/8 pm, is the core of the SyArt Festival – an exhibition attracting young talents to Sorrento, like G. Luciani, F. Fanara, I. Saez, W. Sayez, E. Garletti, K. Milakovic and D. Pisapia a.k.a. Alter Ego.
